Prayagraj: Sarayinayat police on Tuesday arrested all three accused who had allegedly stolen gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 70 lakh and other valuables from a house in Ramapur village on the intervening night of March 9 and 10.The arrest was made near Naseerapur bypass road while the trio– Aryas Soni, Yash Soni and Aditya Soni, aged about 20 years and residents of Nawabganj and Puramufti respectively—was planning to escape from town. Cops also seized all the stolen jewellery from their possession. Police said a group of miscreants stole ornaments from the trans-Ganga-based house when the occupants had gone to attend a marriage. Following the incident, an FIR was registered. Police said the three worked as labourers at a local jewellery shop. They were in touch with a woman working at the jeweler’s house who passed information about the jeweller’s movement. TNN
