Noida: A bike taxi driver was allegedly attacked and robbed by three men in Bisrakh on Sunday. The driver was travelling from Galaxy Chowk towards Lal Kuan when the men on a motorcycle stopped him near JM International School. One of them stabbed him in his abdomen and fled with bike and mobile phone.Based on the complaint filed by the driver Kushal, an FIR was registered at the Bisakh police station. He mentioned in his complaint that the incident took place around midnight on Feb 14. Kushal is originally from Meerut and has been living in Chhapraula village for the past three years. He said he had dropped off a passenger at Nirala Society and was travelling from Galaxy Chowk towards Lal Kuan when three men on a motorcycle began to follow him near JM International School. Kushal sensed danger and tried to speed away. However, the men sped past him and parked their motorcycle in front of his vehicle.The men allegedly brandished a knife and demanded him to give up all his valuables. When he resisted, one of the attackers stabbed him in his abdomen. Kaushal attempted to cry for help but the men threatened to kill him if he continued shouting. They subsequently snatched his motorcycle, cash and mobile phone before fleeing.Locals rushed to his aid and took him to a nearby hospital. He was discharged on Monday and returned home. On Tuesday, Kushal approached the police station and submitted a formal complaint regarding the incident.Additional deputy commissioner of police RK Gautam confirmed that an FIR has been registered in the case against the unidentified individuals. He stated that police teams have been deployed to identify and apprehend the men. Police are examining CCTV footage from the area surrounding the crime scene to gather leads.Police officers are investigating the angle of personal enmity as well, cops said.
