AMBALA: The district police have achieved breakthrough in a firing and attempt-to-murder case registered at Mullana police station, with the arrest of three main accused. The action was carried out by the CIA Naraingarh team as part of a special campaign being run across the district to curb crime and apprehend wanted criminals.The arrested accused have been identified as Dharam Singh of village Kalalti; Hardik of Saha; and Mohit Kumar of village Phulel Majra, all in Ambala district.

According to police, the case is based on a complaint lodged by Yudhishthir Pal of village Thakurpura Kalalti. In his complaint dated February 2, 2026, he stated that on February 1, 2026, Dharam Singh, Hardik, Mohit Kumar and their associates opened fire in village Kalalti with the intention to kill. During the attack, the complainant’s two grandsons sustained serious injuries. The accused also allegedly assaulted other family members and issued threats to kill them.Ambala police registered a case under relevant sections at Mullana police station. The accused were produced before the competent court, which granted two days of police remand. During the remand period, police will conduct detailed interrogation to recover the weapons used in the crime and to identify and arrest other associates involved in the incident.
