Thorsun is looking for Spring 2026 social media/content creation interns to work in a unique role reporting directly to the brand’s founder. We are a start-up brand made in New York, so the position will have the opportunity to see and affect all aspects of how the business functions and grows.  This position will provide the opportunity to contribute to the development and operation of our resortwear line along with our new lifestyle and travel online magazine & website.
Current stockists include: Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Mr. Porter, The Webster and many other domestic and international doors.
This role is designed for someone who understands the rhythm of social media, has a strong eye for detail, and is eager to contribute to a brand rooted in travel, design, and storytelling.
What You’ll Do
● Develop and produce engaging, on-brand content across Instagram, TikTok and other digital platforms
●  Assist in planning and maintaining content calendars to ensure consistency and alignment with key moments
●  Create visual assets for social, email, and digital use using Canva, CapCut and/or Adobe Creative Suite
●  Write thoughtful, concise captions, product descriptions, and occasional editorial content
●  Support ongoing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal storytelling initiatives
●  Assist in the production of video content, including behind-the-scenes moments and short-form edits
●  Monitor social trends, cultural shifts, and competitive activity to inform content direction
●  Engage with the Thorsun community through comments, messages, and platform interaction
●  Track performance and contribute insights to optimize content strategy
●  Help organize and maintain digital assets for easy access and consistency
Who You Are
●  Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
●  Deeply interested in content creation, social media, and digital storytelling
●  Familiar with major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and how content performs across them
●  Comfortable with basic design tools such as CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
●  A strong communicator with a natural sense of tone, voice, and visual composition
●  Detail-oriented with an appreciation for aesthetics and brand consistency
●  Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
●  Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to contribute ideas
