The case would be heard again on March 25.The court was informed that the Ramgarh administration has already complied with some HC directions and eight changing rooms have been constructed. Street lights have also been installed in and around the temple complex, the DC told the court. MOUs have also been signed with private companies to ensure that the temple premises are kept clean all times, Mumtaz said. The court directed the DC to conduct anti-encroachment drives to keep the temple complex free from illegal settlements. The court also suggested creating a “red zone” barricading around the temple near the banks of the Bhairavi river to prevent drowning incidents.Kumar had filed a contempt petition seeking implementation of certain directions given by the HC in Sept 2023 for a facelift of the temple premises. The HC had earlier ordered the Ramgarh administration and the tourism department to ensure beautification of the temple and its premises. The court had ordered construction of permanent bathing ghats with adequate safety enclosures and changing rooms for devotees along with sufficient toilets, medical facilities, drinking water and removal of encroachments.
