Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief N Ramchander Rao stated on Sunday that there will be no alliance between the BJP and BRS, emphasising that this decision is final.Speaking after several BRS leaders joined the BJP in his presence, Rao noted that the political climate in Telangana is increasingly shifting towards the BJP, with the electorate ready to give the party a chance in upcoming elections.Rao sharply criticised the Congress party for its past political maneuvers, particularly regarding controversial handovers in Hyderabad. Addressing wider geopolitical concerns, he also commented on tensions between the US and Iran, accusing Congress and Rahul Gandhi of spreading unnecessary fear and panic among the public.Reassuring citizens about India’s energy security, Rao highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India diversified its crude oil imports from 16 to 47 countries. Despite rising global crude prices, India has avoided a domestic fuel crisis. He condemned Congress for spreading misinformation about fuel shortages and criticised it for failing to deliver on promises to Telangana residents, including commitments related to gas cylinder pricing.Concluding his remarks, Rao stressed that India remains stable and resilient amid global uncertainties, attributing this stability to strong and decisive leadership at the national level.
