Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh inspects the construction work of high court building complex being undertaken by state govt in Rajendranagar

HYDERABAD: Telangana high court on Thursday suggested that the state govt consider establishing a specialised tribunal to deal with building-related disputes, noting that a dedicated forum could help ease the growing burden of such cases on the judiciary.A division bench comprising Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice GM Mohiuddin made the observation while hearing an appeal challenging a building permit granted in Oct 2025 to a builder for a project in Kothapet. The appeal was filed by residents Srinivas Yadav and DE Nagaraju after a single judge dismissed their earlier petition seeking cancellation of the permit. The court adjourned the matter to April 15.
