Nagpur: A 17-year-old student of Class 11 was on Saturday stabbed by his former classmate following a dispute over their relationship with the same girl. The incident occurred near a school within limits of the Bela police station in Nagpur Rural where a case of attempt to murder was registered. The stabbed teenager is learnt to be out of danger and is recuperating at the hospital. Sources said the teenagers earlier studied in the same school and were friends. One of the two teenagers was close to a girl but later shifted to another town for further studies. The other teenager then developed friendship with the girl in question. This led to a rift between the two friends who were involved in verbal spats for the last few days, said police.Sources said the accused summoned his former friend for a settlement before stabbing him twice and fleeing the spot.
