NEW DELHI: A teenage boy was allegedly stabbed to death in outer Delhi’s Sultanpuri following a dispute linked to earlier altercations with local youths, police said on Monday.According to police, a PCR call was received at the local police station on April 13 reporting that the boy, a resident of E-2 block in Sultanpuri, had been stabbed. He was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Preliminary inquiry revealed that the victim had been involved in minor disputes with boys from his neighbourhood in the past. These incidents, police said, were over petty issues and had not been reported earlier.On Monday evening, the boy reportedly encountered a juvenile along with three other associates, all believed to be from the same locality. The confrontation escalated into a violent altercation linked to their previous disputes. During the clash, the group allegedly attacked the boy with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries.Police said three juveniles have been apprehended so far in connection with the case, while efforts are underway to trace others involved.A case has been registered under Section 103 (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Sultanpuri police station. Further investigation is ongoing to ascertain the exact sequence of events and the motive behind the killing.Police added that they are also examining whether the group had any prior history of violence and are recording statements of witnesses from the area.
