Patna: A 17-year-old student, studying at a premier coaching centre in Old Bypass locality under Kankerbagh police station area, died after suddenly falling unconscious during classes on Tuesday morning.The deceased, identified as Lakshya Bhardwaj, was a resident of Madhepura district. He lived in Kankarbagh area while preparing for his Class XII and competitive exams.According to a statement issued by police, the teenager collapsed while studying in the classroom at the coaching institute around 9am. He was rushed to a prominent hospital in Kankarbagh by the coaching staff. However, he died during treatment at around 11am. The coaching staff informed his family about the incident.Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Kankarbagh additional SHO, Anil Kumar, said, “The forensic team was called to the coaching centre to collect evidence.”He added the exact cause of death would be known after the arrival of the postmortem report.
