Ferozepur: A 17-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and murdered in Ferozepur Cantonment on Sunday evening, with police suspecting the killing may be linked to an old rivalry between two groups.The victim, identified as Ashish alias Katta, was allegedly taken away by a group of men who arrived in two cars. His body was later found dumped near a cremation ground, police said.Family members alleged that the teenager had been receiving threats from gangsters lodged in jail and claimed he was attacked with sharp-edged weapons after being kidnapped.On the complaint of the victim’s aunt, police registered a case against 11 persons. Some of those named in the FIR include Salim, Ajay, Abhi, Bobbo, Mango, Yuvi, Rinkle, Chandu and Dogra.Investigating officer ASI Sukhchain said police were probing all angles, including previous enmity, and had launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.
