Nagpur: Flight operations at Pune International Airport were disrupted after a technical snag in an Indian Air Force fighter aircraft blocked the runway late Friday night, leading to multiple cancellations, including 2 flights to Nagpur on Saturday. Efforts to remove the stranded aircraft continued overnight on a war footing, but the disruption spilled over into Saturday morning, affecting scheduled civilian flights. Among the affected services were two IndiGo flights operating between Pune and Nagpur — 6E 2447 and 6E 6798 — both of which were cancelled due to the sudden operational constraints.Passengers faced inconvenience as airport operations went haywire, with many left stranded or forced to make alternate travel arrangements. Airport authorities said efforts were underway to restore normalcy at earliest, while passengers were advised to stay in touch with respective airlines for updates on flight schedules.
