Lucknow: A Lucknow-based tech entrepreneur has lodged an FIR alleging that a man repeatedly posted abusive, threatening and defamatory content against him and his family on social media platforms.The FIR was registered at Gomtinagar police station on the complaint of Anvesh Tiwari (35), founder of a private technology company. Police booked Abhishek Singh, a resident of Ayodhya district, under provisions of the Information Technology Act.According to the complaint, Singh allegedly uploaded videos, posts and comments on Facebook and other social media platforms containing abusive language, threats and false allegations against Tiwari and his family.Tiwari claimed the posts damaged his personal and professional reputation and created fear and insecurity among his family members. He further alleged that the content posed a risk of further harassment and disturbance.The complainant submitted screenshots, video links and other digital evidence to police, stating that additional material has been preserved and can be provided during the investigation. He also sought a technical probe into the social media activity of the accused and requested preservation of electronic evidence through due legal process.Police registered the FIR. Inspector Pankaj Kumar Singh has been assigned the investigation. Officers will examine the digital evidence and verify the allegations during the probe.
