A daily commute involves plenty of little habits we barely notice. You grab a pole to steady yourself, hold the bus handle while getting off, tap your card at the entry gate and sit down wherever you find a spot. By the time you reach your destination, you may have touched a dozen shared surfaces without giving them a second thought.
The problem is that buses, trains and metro coaches carry hundreds of passengers throughout the day, and not everyone washes their hands before travelling. While regular cleaning helps, frequently touched surfaces can still collect dirt and germs between cleaning sessions. Here are some everyday spots inside public transport that deserve a little more attention.
