Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) will operate additional unreserved special trains between Mysuru, Bengaluru and Chamarajanagar from Oct 16 to 22 to clear the expected passenger rush during the Dasara festival.The KSR Bengaluru–Ashokapuram–KSR Bengaluru special (Train Nos. 06285/06286) will make three trips on Oct 19, 20 and 21. Train No. 06285 will leave KSR Bengaluru at 12.15pm and reach Ashokapuram at 3.40pm, while the return service will depart Ashokapuram at 4.10pm and reach Bengaluru at 8pm. The eight-coach MEMU will halt at Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Yeliyur, Byadrahalli, Pandavapura, Srirangapatna, Naganahalli, Mysuru and Chamarajapuram.Another Bengaluru–Mysuru special (06287/06288) will make six trips from Oct 16 to 21. It will leave Bengaluru at 9.15pm and reach Mysuru at 12.20am the next day. The return train will depart Mysuru at 12.30am and reach Bengaluru at 3.30am. It will have eight MEMU coaches and halt at Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Pandavapura.The Mysuru–Bengaluru special (06297/06298) will also make six trips. The Mysuru-bound service will depart Bengaluru at 3.15am and reach Mysuru at 6.30am, while the opposite service will leave Mysuru at 11.15pm and reach Bengaluru at 2.50am. The 19-coach train will halt at Srirangapatana, Pandavapura, Byadrahalli, Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Ramanagaram, Bidadi and Kengeri.Two additional specials will connect Mysuru and Chamarajanagar. Train Nos. 06293/06294 will operate on Oct 21, while 06289/06290 will operate on Oct 21 to facilitate late-night and early-morning travel.
