The Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana is a flagship initiative of the Government of Uttar Pradesh aimed at promoting digital empowerment among youth. Under this scheme, eligible students enrolled in higher education, technical education, skill development, nursing, paramedical, diploma, and ITI courses are provided free smartphones or tablets.

Achievements
- More than 46.75 lakh smartphones and tablets had been distributed within the first three years of implementation.
- The state government continues to expand the scheme and procured 25 lakh additional tablets for distribution in 2025-26.
- The scheme has become one of the largest digital inclusion programs for students in India.
