Kolkata: CM Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday announced a “festival package” providing flour, sugar, and suji at 50% discount ahead of Durga Puja, with Rs 150 crore allocated for the initiative.Speaking at Nabanna, Adhikari said, “We have decided to give flour, sugar, and suji at half price to two crore families. They will get a 50% subsidy,” he said.One kg flour will be available at Rs 19, one kg sugar at Rs 30, and each family will receive 500 grams of suji.The tender for flour and sugar is complete; the suji tender is under process. Distribution will happen through the rationing system during the puja week.
