Union Home Minister Amit Shah to be present at the roadshow in Kolkata’s Bhabanipur during nomination filing which is likely on April 2.
Speaking about West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee‘s comments that BJP stopping people from eating fish and meat, Pradhan said Banerjee has no agenda or issues in the polls and thus “Mamata Banerjee is saying BJP will stop people from eating meat and fish. “I am a BJP leader and I had a sumptuous meal of fish and ate eggs also,” Pradhan said from the rally.
Mamata Banerjee has been saying in almost every rally that BJP is not allowing anyone to eat fish, meat in other states and they will repeat teh same in Bengal, if voted to power.
Adhikari is fighting from Nandigram Assembly Constituency in Purba Medinipur for the second time. He had defeated West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in 2021 assembly polls from Nandigram. He is also contesting from Bhabanipur against Banerjee.
“We will not allow Bengal to go to the hands of fundamentalist group Jamaat-e-Islami and never allow Bengal to turn Bengal into Bangladesh,” Adhikari promised, vowing to bring “Parivartan’ in Bengal.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who participated in the nomination rally and spoke in the “Vijay Sankalp” rally ahead of the nomination submission by Adhikari.“In order to save Bengal, from the hands of the Jamaat in Bengal, you have to strengthen the hands of Adhikari and all other candidates in Purba Medinipur,” Pradhan said.
“Adhikari will travel across Bengal with the motto of BJP to win in the state. Who will fight in Nandigram? Women and people of Nandigram will fight for Adhikari as he campaigns in other places,” Pradhan said.
