Srinagar, July 21: Education Minister Sakeena Itoo on Tuesday announced the extension of summer vacation for all government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir Division and winter zones of the Jammu Division till July 26, 2026, keeping the safety and well being of students, teachers and their families in view.
Schools will now reopen on Monday, July 27, 2026. The minister urged people to stay safe, remain vigilant and follow the advisories issued by the concerned authorities.
