Stylist Alicia Lombardini is seeking a part-time Junior Styling Assistant ASAP to join her team in New York City. This is a hands-on support role and a great opportunity for someone looking to further their experience in celebrity, editorial and personal styling. Candidates will see and learn a lot, but must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be extremely organized.
Must have previous market and styling assistant experience. Available to start ASAP.
Candidates must be available 2–3 days per week and should be responsible, proactive and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in styling, fashion market research, and discovering new and emerging designers.
Responsibilities include assisting with sample pulls and returns, organizing and tracking samples, conducting market research, helping prepare for fittings and shoots, and supporting the first assistant with day-to-day needs.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, so applicants must be able to stay focused under pressure, be comfortable in client-facing environments, take initiative, and approach every task with a positive, can-do attitude.
Requirements:
- Previous market and styling assistant experience required
- Availability 2–3 days per week
- Available to start ASAP
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of designers and the current fashion market
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn
- NYC-based
- Social media skills are a plus
