Lucknow: From classical dance and music performance to nukkad natak, students of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University presented a colourful mix during their annual fest Riwaayat, on Thursday.

Students, faculty members and guests gathered in large numbers to enjoy the open-air theatrical performances.

“As law students we made sure our cultural celebration gave out some social message too, so we presented compelling narratives rooted in socially relevant themes, addressing issues like gender equality, mental health, environmental concerns and societal responsibility,” said Rishi Shukla.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law and Kaavyaom Foundation won the competition. The festival showcased a range of genres, including classical, semi-classical and contemporary compositions.

RMLNLU spokesperson Shashank Shekhar said, “The quiz rounds were thoughtfully curated, covering a wide spectrum of topics ranging from current affairs and history to pop culture and general awareness.”
