Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday said creating employment opportunities, empowering youth and ensuring social justice are among the top priorities of AICC leader Rahul Gandhi.Congress leaders and cadres celebrated the birthday of Rahul Gandhi by feeding the poor and distributing clothes to them. MP Anil Kumar Yadav organised a job mela and TPCC working president T Jagga Reddy distributed bicycles to 300 kids.Speaking at Rahul Gandhi’s birthday celebrations held at Gandhi Bhavan, Mahesh Kumar said there is a lot of anxiety and uncertainty among lakhs of job aspirants in the country. “Unemployment and rising prices continue to trouble people across the country. Meaningful policy changes are essential to create jobs and improve the prospects of young people. The incumbent govt at the Centre has failed to do so,” he alleged.“Students, youth and other sections of society see Rahul Gandhi as the future leader of the country. Rahul Gandhi took up the cause of NEET candidates by organising a big rally in Kota. Because of the NEET exam paper leak, 22 lakh children and their parents are worried. But PM Narendra Modi is not taking action even as there is a widespread demand for the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The Modi-led govt is playing with the future of this country, and will face the wrath of students and parents,” Mahesh Goud said.
