Ara/Buxar: Student support camps were held at Government Engineering College (GEC), Ara, and Government Engineering College, Buxar, on Tuesday under the state govt’s ‘Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivir’ initiative, providing students a platform to raise academic and institutional concerns and seek timely resolution.At GEC Ara, Bhojpur district magistrate Manesh Kumar Meena interacted with students and heard their concerns on laboratories, libraries, technical resources, hostels, examinations, career guidance and placements. Manesh said, “A strong academic environment, well equipped laboratories and adequate technical facilities are crucial for developing students’ knowledge and skills.” He directed the college administration and officials concerned to ensure time-bound action.At GEC Buxar, the camp was inaugurated at the college auditorium and will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. DM Sahila urged students to share their concerns and suggestions openly and make constructive use of available institutional and administrative mechanisms. SP Shubham Arya stressed discipline, responsibility and responsible citizenship, while deputy SP (cyber) Samir Kumar Singh sensitised students about cyber safety, online fraud and cybercrime.Principal Ram Naresh Rai said student welfare remained a priority and urged students to raise concerns without hesitation.
