Patna: Union minister and LJP(RV) chief Chirag Paswan on Tuesday extended moral support to teacher aspirants protesting in Patna over demands for changes in BPSC examination norms and said he would take up their concerns with CM Samrat Choudhary.Talking to reporters in Delhi, Chirag said he understood the protesters’ sentiments and had always tried to raise their legitimate concerns before the appropriate authorities. He said he would seek a meeting with Samrat on Wednesday and urge him to find a solution.“I support their sentiments. I have always worked to convey legitimate concerns of the students to the appropriate forums,” he said.Referring to his earlier intervention on behalf of students seeking admission to PhD programmes in Bihar, Chirag said he had raised their concerns over implementation of UGC regulations with the CM. He said he would similarly take up the demands of those protesting against the existing examination system.The protesters are seeking removal of negative marking in BPSC examinations and reforms in govt recruitment processes, including BPSC TRE-4.
