Prayagraj: Sleuths of the Special Task Force (Prayagraj unit) on Monday arrested a gangster carrying Rs 50,000 cash reward on his head near Kaliyan Canal Bridge Road in Pratapgarh while he was planning to escape from town. The gangster was identified as Gufran alias Changu of Dilippur.Gufran was wanted by the police in connection with a case registered with Patti Police Station of Pratapgarh district under sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 115(2), 61(2), 109(1), and 351(3) of BNS and sections 7 of the CLA Act. Police also said as many as 11 criminal cases were pending against him. tnn
