Chennai: AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami alleged that chief minister M K Stalin was criticizing BJP because he is unable to find fault with AIADMK. Addressing an election campaign at Krishnagiri, Palaniswami said people have seen through the tactics of Stalin and would defeat DMK in the Assembly election. “Stalin is writing the final chapter of DMK,” he said. “Unable to find fault with us, Stalin is criticizing BJP. He knows AIADMK will win as DMK has lost people’s support,” Palaniswami said. “AIADMK is not a slave to BJP or anyone,” he said, countering DMK’s campaign.Palaniswami alleged that Stalin, fearing defeat, was hurriedly distributing laptops of “poor quality” to students. “He is in a rush to lay foundation stones for several schemes without allocating funds or preparing detailed project reports,” he said and noted that the people would not fall prey to such gimmicks.Referring to an audio clip that was being circulated on social media, he said DMK was a party that committed a scam using “thin air”, alluding to the 2G spectrum case. “DMK is rooted in corruption. DMK cannot deceive the people with its false propaganda and poll promises any more,” EPS said. He then alleged that Stalin had denied an opportunity to his sister Kanimozhi to enter state politics. He said the chief minister has refused a ticket to Kanimozhi to contest in the Assembly election and questioned the rationale behind the move.
