Prayagraj: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result of the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) 2025 Tier-I, with a total of 39,901 candidates qualifying for the next stage of recruitment.The computer-based examination was conducted between Nov 12 and 30 in multiple shifts across the country. SSC officials said scores were normalised using a prescribed formula to ensure parity among candidates appearing in different sessions. The commission fixed minimum qualifying marks at 30% for the general category, 25% for OBC and EWS candidates and 20% for candidates belonging to other categories. For LDC/JSA and clerk-cum-typist posts, the general category cut-off was set at 144.25858 marks, while OBC and EWS cut-offs stood at 143.83055 and 141.42492 marks, respectively. A total of 37,520 candidates were shortlisted in this category for Tier-II. In the data entry operator (DEO) science stream, the general category cut-off was 169.54438 marks, with 614 candidates qualifying. For DEO posts in other streams, the general cut-off was recorded at 165.26551 marks, and 1,767 candidates were declared successful. SSC said the results of two candidates were cancelled due to debarment while those of 10 were withheld owing to court-related and other issues. However, they were provisionally allowed to appear in Tier-II. The commission added that the Tier-II examination schedule will be announced shortly on its official website.
