Prayagraj: The Staff Selection Commission has announced important dates of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Examination 2025 (Paper II) and the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2025 (Tier II).It has also introduced a revised system for candidates opting for the facility of a personal scribe. According to the notification, all scribe registrations completed before Nov 5 have been cancelled. Candidates wishing to avail the “own scribe” facility must register afresh. Under the new system, Aadhaar-based authentication is mandatory for scribe registration to ensure proper verification and reduce discrepancies. Candidates are required to submit the registration number of their scribe, which will be used for issuing admit cards. The commission has fixed April 3 as the last date for scribe mapping for the Junior Engineer Paper II examination, while candidates appearing for the CHSL Tier II examination can complete the process until April 5, 11 pm. The Junior Engineer Paper II examination is scheduled for April 7. Candidates will be able to check their allotted examination city from March 27 while admit cards will be released on April 4. Similarly, the CHSL Tier II examination will be held on April 10, 2026. The examination city details will be made available from April 1 and candidates can download their admit cards starting April 7. The commission has advised candidates to check the official website for updates . In another development, the commission has released the final answer key, question papers and response sheets for the Junior Engineer Examination 2025 (Paper I). The results for Paper I were announced earlier this month. Candidates can log in to the official SSC portal using their registration ID and password to access their answer sheets and scorecards. The final answer key and response sheets, will remain available for download only until April 6, 6 pm.
