Udupi: As part of Dasara celebrations, the Mangaluru division of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced special package tours from the Udupi depot to nearby temples and tourist destinations running from Oct 11 to 20. Buses will depart from the Udupi City Bus Stand at 7.30am. The itinerary includes visits to Kodyadka Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple, Sringeri Temple (via SK border), Sri Rishyashrungeshwara Temple in Kigga, Hariharapura Mutt, and Perdoor Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple. The tour concludes at Udupi City Bus Stand at 8pm. In another package, buses will depart from Udupi City Bus Stand at 7.30am and cover Neelavara Sri Mahishamardini Temple, Mandarthi Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Kamalashile Sri Brahmi Durgaparameshwari Temple, Saukur Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple, and Maranakatte Sri Brahmalingeshwara Temple. The bus returns to Udupi City Bus Stand at 6.30pm. The fare for both package tour routes is fixed at Rs 500 for adults, and Rs 400 for children (aged 6 to 12 years), stated a release.
