Ranchi: Three persons were killed and one was critically injured when a speeding bike hit a bicycle near Jenadih village in Khunti district on Friday, police said on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Amrit Patar, 25, and Aayush Patar, 17, and bicyclist Purn Munda, 47.Another pillion rider, Sunil Patar, 25, was critically injured and admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims), Ranchi.Arki police station officer in-charge Praveen Kumar said that all the victims were residents of Tamar area in Ranchi district and were returning home from a weekly market. The bike rider lost control and hit the cycle from behind, leading all four of them to fall on the ground. Prima facie it appears that three on the bike consumed alcohol, police said.
