Chennai: In view of the festive rush, Southern Railway has announced special train services between Mangaluru Central and Chennai Egmore.Train no 06126 (Mangaluru Central-Chennai Egmore Special) will depart from Mangaluru Central at 4pm on April 6 and April 13, and reach Egmore at 10.30am the next day. In the return direction, train no 06125 (Chennai Egmore-Mangaluru Central Special) will leave Egmore at 2pm on April 7 and April 14, arriving in Mangaluru at 6.50am the next day.The special trains will comprise a mix of AC two-tier, AC three-tier, sleeper class and general second-class coaches, along with a disabled-friendly coach and luggage van. Key stoppages en route include Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Erode, Salem, Katpadi and Arakkonam.
