Mysuru: To clear the extra rush of passengers during Dasara, Deepavali and Chhath festivals, South Western Railway will run weekly special trains between Mysuru and Rameswaram for nine trips in each direction.Train No. 06263 Mysuru–Rameswaram Weekly Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 6.35 pm every Monday starting from Oct 5, and arrive at Rameswaram at 11 am on the next day (Tuesday). The special train will operate till Nov 30.In the return direction, Train No. 06264 Rameswaram–Mysuru Weekly Express Special will depart from Rameswaram at 3.30 pm every Tuesday starting from Oct 6, and will arrive at Mysuru at 7.45 am on the next day (Wednesday).En route, the train will have stoppages at Mandya, Ramanagaram, Kengeri, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Manamadurai, Paramakkudi and Ramanathapuram stations in both directions, stated a release.
