Hisar: Brief panic gripped a govt middle school in Dult village of Fatehabad district after a snake was spotted inside the premises. The situation was brought under control after the school staff promptly called a snake rescuer.According to school authorities, the snake was seen near a recharge bore area, following which the principal alerted a trained rescuer. The snake was later found trapped among bricks and stones near the bore. Snake rescuer Navjot Singh Dhillon reached the spot and safely captured the reptile. He identified it as an Indian rat snake, a non-venomous species commonly found in fields and rural areas. Dhillon advised that in case of spotting a snake, people should avoid panic and immediately contact trained rescue personnel instead of trying to harm the animal. Emphasising environmental awareness, he said every species has its own importance in maintaining ecological balance.The snake was later released safely into a suitable natural habitat.
