Jamshedpur: Six people sustained injuries when a trailer rammed a motorbike and a bus in Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Wednesday. The incident took place near Bhadudih village under Chandil police station limits.The trailer, which was travelling towards Jamshedpur from Ranchi, first hit a motorbike which was headed to Jamshedpur from Ichagarh. Three people, who were riding the bike, sustained injuries. The driver of the trailer tried to flee the spot by increasing the speed of his vehicle. Eventually, the trailer lost control and collided with a passenger bus. Three people, including a woman, reportedly sitting in the cabin area received injuries, police said.Dilson Birua, the officer-in-charge of Chandil police station, said the injured persons are aged between 18 to 45 years and are residents of Kapali. “All the injured were admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital, and investigation into the matter is underway,” Birua said.All six injured people are in the age group of 18-45. They are residents of Kapali in Chandil. Chandil police station in-charge, Dilson Birua, said that all the injured have been admitted to MGM Medical Hospital and further probe into the matter is going on.
