Ajmer: Turnout for the sub inspector (SI) recruitment exam 2025 remained above 60% on the second day as well, in both sessions of the test held Monday. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) secretary Ramniwas Mehta said the two-day exam, for which more than 7.7 lakh candidates registered, was conducted peacefully in 26 districts of the state. In the first session, held from 11am to 1pm for general Hindi, total 61.56% candidates appeared, and in the second session from 3pm to 5pm of general knowledge and general science, a total 61.12% candidates were present. A total of 1,690 candidates who appeared in the first session were absent in the second session.Dholpur recorded the highest turnout at 73.86% in first session and 73.66% in the second. In Jaipur, 56.3% candidates appeared in first session and 55.89% in the second. Six districts—Jaipur, Ajmer, Hanumangarh, Udaipur, Sikar and Jhunjhunu—recorded attendance below 60%. Mehta said conduct of such a large-scale exam was not possible without help of district administrations, police, and education dept.
