Kanpur: A 40-year-old sweet shop owner was bitten by a snake while filming a social media reel in Auraiya district on Thursday. However, prompt medical treatment helped stabilise his condition, doctors said.According to reports, Rinku, son of Ramadhar and a resident of Achhalda, runs a sweet shop at Chauraha block. On Thursday afternoon, he was making a video with a snake borrowed from a snake charmer, draping it around his neck for the reel. During the shoot, the snake bit him on his left hand.People present at the spot immediately rushed him to the community health centre (CHC) in Achhalda in a private vehicle.Dr Gaurav, who treated the patient at the CHC, said blood tests were conducted and treatment was started immediately. Due to timely medical intervention, Rinku’s condition is stable and he is out of danger, he added.
