Srinagar, Mar 15: The Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid on Sunday said that the sacred night of Shab-e-Qadr will be observed with religious fervour at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar on Monday night.
According to the Auqaf, special prayers and supplications will be held on the occasion, with Isha and Taraweeh prayers scheduled at 10:00 PM. The congregation will thereafter engage in night-long worship and remembrance of Allah.
On the occasion, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will deliver a repentance sermon and lead the Shab Khani from 12:00 AM onwards.
The Auqaf has urged the general public to participate in large numbers and avail the spiritual blessings of the sacred night by gathering at the historic mosque.
