Bollywood playback singer Shaan and Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma, performed live for the students of Poornima University at their cultural fest Aarohan. Shaan, with his melodious voice, ignited the enthusiasm of the youth. He made a powerful entry on stage with the song ‘Main Hoon Don….’ His soulful rendition of hit numbers like ‘Daastaan Hai Yeh,’ ‘Om Shanti Om,’ ‘Dus Bahane Karke Le Gaya Dil,’ ‘Main Aisa Kyun Hoon,’ ‘Kya Maine Socha,’ ‘One Love,’ and ‘Dil Kya Kare’ delighted the crowd.

Singer and actress Sunanda Sharma’s performance also won the hearts of the youth. She performed several popular Punjabi and Hindi songs, including ‘Sandal,’ ‘Mummy Nu Pasand,’ ‘Dil Le Gaya,’ ‘Baaliyan,’ ‘Kangana,’ ‘Kala Chashma,’ and ‘Jee Karda’ Sunanda added a new dimension to the fest with her powerful vocals, chartbusters, and unmatched stage presence. Her unique performance style connected directly with the students. Singer Navjot Ahuja gave soulful renditions of several Punjabi songs. With a powewrful dose of laughter stand-up comedian Akash Gupta entertained the students with witty jokes on topics like college life, latecomers, rain, advertising, noodles, Sufi concerts, and golgappas.
At the ‘Under-25’ summit held as part of Aarohan Fest, actor Vineet Kumar Singh and Poornima Group director Rahul Singhi discussed topics like college life, career building, discipline, and self-confidence based on their experiences. Vineet Kumar shared his story of struggle and success, inspiring students to remain dedicated to their dreams. He emphasized that college life isn’t limited to academics; It is also a crucial time to discover oneself and set goals. In the sports category, various competitions were held, including volleyball, carrom, chess, cricket, and football. Students and faculty members also participated in fun activities. The winners of the fest’s various competitions were honoured at the closing ceremony. Renu Singhi, advisor to the alumni society; MKM Shah, Hari Singh Shekhawat, Nipun Singhi, formally inaugurated the three-day fest.
