Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi, marked a historic day on August 12 as the college commenced the celebrations of its 75-year journey. On this occasion, the special logo for the 75th Year Celebrations was unveiled. The logo is a symbol that represents the college’s rich heritage, present achievements, and aspirations for the future.The event was attended by Justice Talwant Singh, Chairperson, East District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Delhi, and former Judge of the Delhi High Court, as the Chief Guest. Also present on the dais were Sardar Tarlochan Singh, Chairman, Governing Body of the College, and Sardar Inderpreet Singh Kochar, Treasurer of the College.Addressing the gathering, Justice Talwant Singh said, “The 75-year journey of the college is an inspiring example not only of educational excellence but also of social commitment. This occasion gives us an opportunity not only to remember our glorious heritage but also to dedicate ourselves to new possibilities for the future.” Highlighting the role of the college, Sardar Tarlochan Singh said, “The 75-year journey of the college has truly been a matter of pride. Along with education, this institution has played an important role in strengthening social and cultural values.”“The 75-year journey of the college is a symbol of its continuous progress, achievements, and commitment to institutional values. This occasion further strengthens our resolve to draw inspiration from the achievements of the past and take the college to new heights,” Sardar Inderpreet Singh Kochar added.

Prof. Gurumohinder Singh, Principal of Khalsa College, said, “The college’s 75-year journey has been a journey of academic excellence, rich traditions, and human values. The 75th Year logo is a symbol of the college’s glorious heritage and its commitment to the future.” Highlighting the significance of the logo, Prof. Parminder Kaur Narang, Convener of the Logo Committee, said, “The logo brings together the college’s rich heritage, present achievements, and aspirations for the future. It symbolises the core spirit and values of the college as well as its continuous progress.”As part of the inauguration of the 75th Year Celebrations, an orientation programme for new students was also organised. The programme familiarised students with the college’s academic system, various facilities, activities, and institutional traditions. In addition, the college canteen was inaugurated, marking another important step towards providing improved facilities to students and the college community. As part of the 75th Year Celebrations, the college will organise a wide range of academic, literary, cultural, social, and other programmes throughout the year. These events will highlight the college’s glorious journey, its achievements, and its vision for the future.
