Lucknow: Seth MR Jaipuria School (Ansal Campus) and DPS Eldeco won their respective semi-final matches to set up a title clash in the inter-school boys’ and girls’ basketball championship under the Sarojininagar Sports League, an initiative by local MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh, currently underway at SKD Academy, Vrindavan Yojana. Seth MR Jaipuria defeated Skylark World School, while DPS Eldeco edged past GD Goenka in the boys’ segment. In the girls’ matches, DPS Eldeco and Jaipuria triumphed over GD Goenka and SKD Academy, respectively. MLA Singh’s initiative has introduced multiple disciplines, including cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball, with over 2,400 players participating in the league.
