Srinagar, Oct 27: The Sericulture Development Department, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday observed an Integrity Pledge ceremony across its establishments, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in public administration.
Held under the guidance of Director Sericulture J&K Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, the ceremony took place at the Directorate and other departmental establishments across the Union Territory.
According to an official statement, officers and employees pledged to uphold honesty, impartiality and accountability while discharging their official duties.
The department said the initiative aimed to promote ethical practices, strengthen good governance and reinforce public confidence in government institutions.
Officials reiterated their commitment to maintaining transparency in administrative functioning and ensuring fairness and responsibility in public service delivery.
