Srinagar, September 28: Senior Traffic Police officers today visited the Parimpora and Tengpora flyovers to assess the traffic situation and review measures to ease congestion in the areas.
The inspection was led by the IGP Traffic J&K Shri Suliman Choudhary IPS and DIG Traffic HASEEB UR REHMAN IPS along with other senior traffic officers.
During the visit, the officers assessed traffic movement, identified congestion-prone points and reviewed the existing traffic management arrangements.
The officers also interacted with traffic personnel deployed on the ground and directed them to ensure smooth regulation of vehicular movement, particularly during peak hours.
The Traffic Police reiterated its commitment to improving traffic management and facilitating smoother movement of commuters across Srinagar.
