Mandya: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has gathered pace across Mandya district, with senior officials monitoring the progress of the door-to-door verification drive. District in-charge secretary Manoj Kumar Meena, accompanied by DC Kumara and ZP CEO KR Nandini, visited Baburayanakoppal village in Srirangapatna taluk on Friday to inspect the ongoing enumeration process and interact with residents.During the visit, the officials reviewed the work being carried out by booth level officers who have been assigned to conduct the door-to-door visits. The inspection was aimed at ensuring the enumeration process was being carried out smoothly, and that eligible voters receive required forms.Officials appealed the public to extend full cooperation to the election staff. They informed residents that BLOs will continue their visits until July 29, to distribute enumeration forms to all eligible voters. Citizens are requested to carefully fill in the forms, provide accurate information and keep the necessary supporting documents ready for verification. The officials also urged voters to hand over duly completed forms along with required documents when BLOs revisit their homes, enabling timely updating of the electoral rolls.
