Patna: The Bihar Police has tightened security measures across the state ahead of Eid and Ram Navami festivals. Police and administrative officials are on high alert with around 30,000 police personnel deployed statewide. Sensitive areas have been identified and additional police forces and magistrates have been stationed. Drone surveillance is underway, and social media platforms are being monitored round the clock.The police headquarters has warned that strict action would be taken against those spreading misinformation or communal posts. It also emphasised that DJ systems are banned, and carrying sharp weapons in processions is prohibited.Quick response teams (QRTs) are on alert, and riot control forces are equipped with helmets, body protectors, tear gas, and lathis. The police have appealed to citizens to maintain peace and report any suspicious activity.
