Jaipur: As part of the International Yoga Week celebrations, Union Football Club Jaipur (Trust), one of India’s oldest sporting institutions, in association with the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, successfully organised the grand concluding ceremony of the ‘Sarwangin Samriddhi Yog’ Camp and the One-Month Sports Training Camp 2026 here at Union Football Club Ground No. 2, Ramniwas Bagh.The event was graced by chief guest Ram Sharan Gupta. Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included Union Club president Lokesh Kumar Singh ‘Sahil’, secretary Mahipal Swami, vice president Anil Sharma, treasurer Bhavya Rajawat ‘Yogini’, Rajasthan Bar Council president and Advocate Rajeev Songarwal, RK Bhatt, Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, Kishanpole Assembly candidate CM Batwada, kabaddi secretary Raj Narain Sharma, Padam Jain, president of Pratishtha School Sanstha Arpita Mathur, ground in-charge Gaurav, Advocate Prerak Swami, Pallavi Jain, rugby coach Jitesh Kumar, Rajveer Singh, Dashrath Singh, and Mini Five Football secretary Dinesh Chaudhary.The ceremony also witnessed the enthusiastic presence of hundreds of young football, kabaddi and rugby players, along with their parents and members of the general public.Club coordinator Abhinav Swami informed that Union Football Club has been consistently organising such initiatives every year with the objective of promoting yoga, sports, health and holistic development among the youth.He further stated that during the one-month sports training camp, participants received structured training in football, kabaddi, rugby and yoga. At the closing ceremony, all participants were honoured with certificates and medals in recognition of their dedication and achievements.A proud moment for the club was the selection of 10 players from Union Football Club into the Rajasthan team for the Mini Five Football National tournament. On this occasion, the official team kit was also unveiled.Speakers at the event reiterated the club’s commitment towards restoring Union Football Club Jaipur (Trust), Ramniwas Bagh, as a vibrant sports hub, dedicated to nurturing future generations through sports, fitness, discipline and holistic well-being.
