Chamarajanagar: Chamarajanagar town police have arrested a man on charges of lifting women’s innerwear over the past few months.According to police, the accused is Amruthesh, 22. After the residents raised concerns over the unknown person visiting their areas, police verified the CCTV footage of various areas — Indira Nagar, KHB Colony and adjoining areas — and zeroed in on him.According to a preliminary investigation, Amruthesh wore a sari while lifting the innerwear after entering different house by scaling compound walls.Speaking to TOI, Chamarajanagar additional superintendent of police MN Shashidar said the accused behaved strangely after being picked up for questioning. The cops subjected him to various medical tests, he stated.
