CHENNAI: Senior IPS officer Santosh Hadimani has been posted as the joint commissioner of police, intelligence, Greater Chennai Police, filling an existing vacancy, as part of a reshuffle of 12 senior police officers ordered by the Tamil Nadu home department on Tuesday.Additional chief secretary (home) K Manivasan issued the transfer and posting orders.Additional commissioner of police A G Babu has been transferred and posted as Salem city police commissioner, while inspector general of police K Joshi Nirmal Kumar has been posted as IGP, modernisation, in the office of the director general of police.Deputy inspector general N Devarani has been posted as DIG, Salem range. V Badri Narayanan, superintendent of police, Anti-Terrorism Squad, has been posted as DCP, Adyar. DCP A C Karthikeyan has been transferred as SP, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.DCP N Mathivanan has been posted as DCP, St Thomas Mount police district, while S P K Stalin has been posted as SP, South Zone, CB-CID. DCP P Sundaravadivel has been transferred as DCP, estate and welfare, Greater Chennai Police.DCP V Baskaran has been posted as DCP, Salem city. DCP Ankit Singh has been posted as DCP, Washermenpet, Greater Chennai Police.R Stalin, who was on compulsory wait, has been posted as SP, North Zone, Economic Offences Wing.The reshuffle also includes changes in other senior police positions in the state.
