Samsung’s big AI push will continue and we could see Bixby make a comeback in a new AI assistant avatar.

Samsung is reviving Bixby with the help of Perplexity.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series is launching this week in the US and other regions and the company has shared some more exciting news about its new lineup. The brand has signed up with Google to bring Gemini and Galaxy AI features on its flagship devices and now it will have Perplexity AI assistant also working on the new S26 models which will be announced at the launch event on Wednesday.

In fact, the news also says that Samsung will allow the third AI agent to be activated by pressing the side button which also gives you Gemini or Galaxy AI.

More AI For Galaxy 26 Series

Samsung is going deep into the AI arena with three AI agents being offered with its latest Galaxy S26 series models. It will be using Perplexity to power the Bixby assistant that you can trigger with a single click.

The decision to go with Perplexity is most likely to aid its own focus on other AI tools but we are not sure if the Galaxy S26 users will get to access the Pro version of the AI assistant or just the basic one. We do hope the AI integration is not only seamless but functional for many to use daily.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 will be the platform where we get to hear about AI, Galaxy devices and more. The company is also likely to introduce the new Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro models in the market.

Samsung introduced a new version of display feature with the Galaxy S25 Ultra last year and we could see the brand go one step further with a privacy-focused display shield expected to be offered on the Galaxy S26 Ultra when it launches soon.

“Samsung will soon unveil a new layer of privacy to shield your phone from shoulder surfing wherever you go. You’ll have the space to check your messages or enter a password on public transit without thinking twice about who might be watching”. This is a teaser to the privacy feature that we have heard about with various Galaxy S26 Ultra leaks in the last few weeks.
