Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday asked information and public relations department (IPRD) officials to ensure that information related to state govt schemes and development works reaches people promptly and effectively.Chairing a review meeting at the ‘Sankalp’ Hall of Lok Sevak Awas at 1, Anne Marg, Samrat stressed the need for constant public engagement and feedback monitoring.“We should also keep an eye on people’s feedback, suggestions and complaints,” he told officials.Highlighting the growing importance of artificial intelligence, Samrat said all departments should use AI for monitoring schemes and improving transparency. He directed officials to prepare district-wise plans for the use of AI across the state.During the meeting, the CM said Bihar had a glorious historical legacy and was now progressing rapidly on multiple fronts. He said major improvements had been made in infrastructure, law and order, public amenities and small-scale industries, benefiting people across the state.Samrat also instructed officials to ensure easy access to information related to Bihar’s achievements, heritage, important sites and district-wise infrastructure for people both within and outside the state.“In today’s time, the importance of artificial intelligence has increased. Keeping its utility in mind, all departments can use AI in monitoring their schemes, which will increase transparency,” the CM said.He asked officials to immediately counter any baseless, misleading or negative content circulated on social media platforms with factual information.Earlier, IPRD secretary Chandrashekhar Singh briefed the CM about the department’s current work and future action plan.Senior officials, including principal secretary Deepak Kumar and secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh, were present at the meeting.
