Srinagar, Hon’ble MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar today laid the foundation stone for the ₹1.20 crore restoration and preservation project of Jenab Sahib Soura (Spring) at Anchar.
The project, being executed by R&B Soura, holds significant public importance as the historic spring has long been associated with the daily lives of the local community and was once widely used by residents. Its restoration will not only revive the spring to its original glory but also preserve an important public, natural and cultural asset for present and future generations.
Salman Sagar said the initiative reflects the commitment to restoring community assets that have both public utility and heritage value, while ensuring that the people of Anchar benefit from meaningful and sustainable development.
